Vacation time- June 15, 2016

Dear Angi and Ron,

Thanks so much for your hospitality.  We loved hearing about the life in Cayman and all of the adventures with your dogs.

Breakfast and desserts were delicious!!!

You have a lovely home and we especially enjoyed sitting on the back porch in the rain….or rather napping on the porch.

Thanks again,

Kallina and Clint

Time for Us

Dear Ron and Angi,

Thank you for a wonderful weekday getaway.  This year we celebrate 18 years of marriage and we thoroughly enjoyed being able to celebrate here.

We truly appreciate your warm hospitality.  Angi, you were very welcoming upon our arrival and you made our stay very inviting and homey.  Your home is beautiful and cozy, which is a must when you want a mini-vacation.

Breakfast and dessert were both delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed both!  We will certainly recommend your bed and breakfast to others and hope to return again soon!

Thanks again for everything!

May Wedding

Dear Ron and Angi,

We entered as strangers and are leaving as friends.

It was so lovely to spend our time amidst such wonderful hospitality and warmth.  You both have cooked your way into our hearts and waists.

Ron, thank you for your kindness regarding Austin.  We have roots here that will add to our list to reasons to return.

Katie and I will look forward to many future visits.

We will certainly send our friends.

Thank you,

Anne and Katie, Atlanta, Ga.

6 month anniversary

Dear Ron and Angi,

Words just cannot describe what an amazing experience it was for us to stay in your beautiful home.  From the greeting as we drove in until the time we had to say “see you later”.

The English Manor Bed and Breakfast was our first experience at a B & B.  It, however, will not be our last.  The warmth, comfort and hospitality were beyond anything we have ever experienced.

What a way to celebrate our six month anniversary.

What can I say about the food….out of this world!!

Thank you again for the lovely experience,

Ronda and Jim

Engaged at English Manor B and B

Ryan surprised Marketa with a lovely bouquet of roses and a ring that was attached to one of our stuffed Black Bears.  This was waiting at the mountain outlook and they hiked up to see the beautiful views (or so Marketa thought).  We just love to be part of their special moment.  We hope they will have a long and wonderful life together….

First Anniversary

My husband and I enjoyed our first year anniversary at the English Manor!  This was our first experience with a bed and breakfast and I have to say it was top notch!  They made us both feel like their home was our home.  We had a fabulous dessert waiting for us when we returned from dinner and breakfast was exceptionally divine.

I would highly recommend English Manor not only because of the service, but the environment was just so beautiful, clean and refreshing.  Angi even irons the sheets.  This was some of the best sleep I have had in a while.  Hope you enjoy your stay!!!

Adrienne's BreakfastDear Angi,

Imagine my disappointment when I awoke Monday morning and realized that there would be no surfeit of scrumptious baked goods, eggs rendered into art works, fresh berries and yogurt, and the best bacon ever on the table.  Or, that I would not be in the excellent company of the Arscotts, four-legged members included.  I sought to console myself with a bit of your delicious sugary orange rinds.

Thank you for a lovely sorjourn in Morganton and for tolerating my late night arrivals.

With every good wish,

Visitors from South Carolina

Gorgeous scenery, nice and clean, fantastic proprietors, great food, peace and quiet, and homemade DESSERTS awaited us every night.  Can’t beat that!

There was a full moon when we stayed and it was magnificent.  Angi and Ron, the proprietors, made us feel as if we had come to visit favorite family members.  We felt so at home.

We traveled a short way into Blue Ridge, Ga., which is a very quaint, bustling town with interesting shops.  The only shop we were disappointed in was the wine and cheese shop.   It was pricey for a wine tasting and the wines were not to our liking.

For a peaceful, homey getaway, you must stay at English Manor Bed and Breakfast.

We proudly fly both the current American Flag and the First Flag of the United States of America.  Most people are confused and think it is a Union Jack….

We welcome all current and former Military and offer a discount to any who have served our country and book for two nights or more.
